Financial Assistance Program (FAP)
The Financial Assistance Program (FAP) is available to all candidates who
have successfully completed at least one increment of training at Officer
Candidates School (OCS). FAP provides you with two lump sum payments (one
per academic semester) of $1,575.00, for a total of $3,150.00 for the school
year. A candidate may remain in FAP for up to three consecutive years of
enrollment. Contact the Officer Selection Office to apply.
*College Tuition Assistance Program (CTAP)
The College Tuition Assistance Program (CTAP) is available to all candidates
who have successfully completed at least one increment of training at OCS.
CTAP provides up to $5,200 an academic year for REIMBURSEMENT of tuition,
books and fees. Contact the Officer Selection Office for details.
*Must be attending a 4 year College in order to qualify for the CTAP.
Commissioned Officer Financial Assistance (*new)
*College Loan Repayment Program: 100% reimbursement of qualifying
undergraduate federal subsidized loans up to $30,000. This is available to
those that accept a commission during the period of 01 October 2008 through
30 September 2009.
*Officer Accession Incentive: $4,000 available to those who complete OCC
and accept a commission during the period of 01 June 2008 through 30
September 2009.
