Starting Salary
Starting annual salary is $49,869 and up to $62,029 depending on when you enter
the program. This amount includes a Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) and
Basic Allowance for Subsistence (BAS).
Benefits
Comprehensive medical coverage provided by TriCare Prime is available at no
cost to Active Duty members.
Retirement is offered after only 20 years of service. Retirement pay can be
drawn at a 50% rate the day after you retire.
You get 30 days paid vacation per year when you are employed.
Free world travel: Active duty servicemembers have the priority on military
flights anywhere in the world aboard Space Available travel. Space-A travel is
also available to the dependents of Active duty members.
Low cost life insurance offered through Servicemembers' Group Life Insurance
(SGLI).
Recreation and fitness: Every major base has state of the art fitness centers that
are free for you and your family.
